Claressa, who appeared on the podcast alongside Ryan Destiny, was visibly caught off guard.
Bursting into laughter, the boxing champ quickly shut down the drama:
“The internet is not a real place, Keke. Listen, I woke up that morning just as shocked as everybody else. Like, what the hell is going on?! I just wanted to promote my movie…what is this?”
Despite the unexpected social media storm, Claressa admitted the situation did bring extra attention to her new film, The Fire Inside.
