‘Reasonable Doubt’ Season 2

Kandi Burruss: A Versatile Talent

Kandi Burruss is no stranger to the spotlight.

Best known for her long-running stint on Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Burruss has seamlessly transitioned from a successful music career to television and business.

She has penned hits like Destiny’s Child’s GRAMMY-nominated “Bills, Bills, Bills,” Pink’s “There You Go,” and TLC’s iconic “No Scrubs.”

Kandi was the first woman to receive ASCAP’s Rhythm & Soul Music Award for Songwriter of the Year in 2000.

Her television career is equally notable, with a recurring role on Showtime’s “The Chi,” a stint on CBS’s “Celebrity Big Brother,” and a historic win on Fox’s “The Masked Singer” as the Night Angel.

Beyond TV, she has launched several successful businesses, including the adult toy line Bedroom Kandi, the cosmetics brand Kandi Koated Beauty, and the popular Atlanta eateries Old Lady Gang and Blaze Steak & Seafood.

Her entrepreneurial spirit extends to the luxury women’s apparel boutiques TAGS and the unisex children’s lifestyle brand Raising Ace.

Kandi also made her Broadway debut in the Tony Award-winning revival of “Chicago,” playing Matron “Mama” Morton.

She produced Broadway’s “Thoughts of a Colored Man” and starred in Lifetime’s “Envy: A Seven Deadly Sins Story.”
