Ebony magazine recently dropped a February surprise on Instagram, and the Jonathan Majors Creed/V-Day digital cover was well received.
On the creative cover, Jonathan Majors is promoting his upcoming movie Creed III as he is sitting in a chair shirtless in boxing attire, and he’s also promoting the Valentine’s Day holiday as he has a dozen or so roses in each hand and a bevy of rose petals at his feet.
Ebony magazine captioned the post with a quote from Jonathan along with a short write-up on the cover:
“I was told many times that I didn’t have swagger. [Laughs] I was told I wasn’t cool. I was forced to be an individual in order to survive. I had to believe in my own way of doing things. And that’s what swagger is, you know.” — Jonathan Majors
This February, love is in the air with our steamy cover star Jonathan “easy on the eyes” Majors. Gracing EBONY’s February cover with extraordinary flare and timeless appeal, Majors is on time for Valentine’s Day Season. Though he reminds us he is nothing short of a sight to see, the actor is more concerned with the impression he leaves within his work.
Majors’ legacy is broadening the landscape of Black manhood, challenging traditional archetypes, and fully embodying what it means to be an actor. We learned about how he’s just getting started with roles like Kang the Conquerer in “Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” in our February Cover Experience.
