Joe Budden issued a public apology to NBA YoungBoy after calling his music “trash” on a recent episode of his podcast.

That n— is trash, he’s horrible. He’s really bad.” In addition to calling his music trash, Joe went on to insinuate that YoungBoy was an industry plant.

That thing happened with him where when he was out, the label pushed the button and did some YouTube s—, so all the little kids had to come to the gathering and tell you about how great he is and how many views he has and all of that.”

Joe added, “Now that the label is backed up, we got three to four of those projects while he’s been in Utah on house arrest.”

NBA YoungBoy lashed out at Joe Budden for his harsh criticism of his music.

The 24-year-old rapper, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, took to social media and defended his music.

The last thing I dropped was Decided 2, and my album is still in the Top 10, p— a— n—! Don’t speak on me, I don’t play that s—. Don’t rat on me either p— a— b—!

NBA YoungBoy wasn’t done with Joe. He extended an invitation for him to come to Utah (where he is on house arrest) to talk to him face-to-face.

B— you do all them interviews, come on Grave Digger Mountain and talk to me n—, if you can’t do that you b— made. Shut your f— mouth!

Social media was buzzing for days as people reacted to the brewing Joe Budden and NBA YoungBoy beef.

Joe Budden issued an apology to NBA YoungBoy on the latest episode of his podcast.

It appears in hindsight, Joe now realizes how harsh and unnecessary his comments were about the young rapper.

Watching the playback that s— is always a lot worse. I owe NBA YoungBoy an apology too. Let’s start with accountability. I him an apology. He don’t even bother nobody,” Joe said on Wednesday’s episode.

Joe Budden continued to take accountability saying, “You gotta be more responsible than that. That was totally wrong. Not cool.

You want to be the bridge. You want to be the OG that is the bridge. You don’t want to keep…they only snatch my s— when I’m kicking someone’s back in. I need to stop kicking people’s back in.

In closing, Joe said, “I do want to apologize. That was f— up and it was crazy.

You may recall that Drake lashed out at Joe Budden in October over his criticism of his latest album, For All The Dogs.

Joe’s biggest criticism of the project was that he felt like Drake‘s music hadn’t matured with age.

In response, the rapper called Joe Budden a “failure.”

@joebudden you have failed at music. You left it behind to do what you are doing in this clip cause this is what actually pays your bills.

Drake also accused Joe of suffering from self-hate.

I never want anybody in the generations to think that the whole “everybody’s entitled to their opinion” is a real thing…this is a man projecting his own self-hate and the fact I did and continue to do everything he wanted to do for himself.

Whether or not you agree with Joe Budden’s opinion on music one thing is for certain – people obviously care about his opinion.
