It’s with great concern that I report Jeremy Renner was hospitalized on New Year’s Day after a snow plowing accident.

His spokesperson told Deadline, the 51-year-old Oscar-nominated actor is in “critical but stable condition with injuries suffered from experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today.”

According to the Reno Gazette-Journal, Jeremy has a home in the area, near Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe, about 25 miles from Reno, Nevada.

A winter storm hit on New Year’s Eve that left 35,000 homes across Northern Nevada without power.

TMZ reports, the plowing machine, known as a “Snowcat,” ran over Jeremy’s leg causing him to lose a lot of blood.

Thankfully, one of his neighbors, who’s a doctor, was able to put a tourniquet on his leg until paramedics arrived and transported him to the hospital via helicopter.

Jeremy Renner is the star of the Paramount+ hit series, “Mayor of Kingstown,” which begins its second season on January 15.

Tasha Smith, who directed episodes of the second season, took to social media to summon prayers for Jeremy.

She wrote in an Instagram post, “I need all of my prayer warriors on deck! Please pray for our brother! In the name of Jesus!!!!!!!! This has gutted us all! We love JR so much! Pray pray pray!”

Violent Night star Alexis Louder also shared a prayer for Jeremy.

Heavenly Father, we lift up Jeremy Renner.

Jesus be in the hospital, be on the doctors and nurses hands, Cover their minds that they have Your wisdom in treating his condition.

Heal him from the top of his head to the soles of his feet. Guide him through his recovery that we’re claiming in advance.

We send prayers of miraculous healing to his hospital room.

You are STILL a miracle worker and we call upon you to do a miracle. In the mighty name of JESUS, Amen.

A few days before the New Year, Jeremy took to Instagram to excitedly announce his new Disney+ series, “Rennervations.”

He wrote, “There’s no better way to kick off the new year than giving back to those who need it most! Don’t miss #Rennervations, coming soon to @disneyplus.”

Sending up prayers for Jeremy Renner to have a full and speedy recovery.
