In his filing, Jeezy said he and Jeannie Mai are “currently living in a bona fide state of separation,” and that their marriage is “irretrievably broken” with “no hope for reconciliation.”

He also noted, “Despite this, my love and respect for Jeannie remains and the time we spent together holds a cherished place in my heart.

In closing, the rapper wrote, “During this period, I kindly request that you respect our family’s privacy as we focus on healing.”

During a recent appearance on the “Sherri Shepherd” show, Jeannie Mai opened up about the divorce saying:

I’m not going to lie…you know it takes every day to just really sit and just be quiet in your thoughts, take care of me, but one thing I know is you give God your pain and he will give you his power. Period.

I wish Jeezy and Jeannie Mai the very best as they begin their new journeys.
