Rapper Jeezy made his way to Fulton County Superior Courthouse on Thursday (September 14) and filed papers to divorce his wife, TV host Jeannie Mai.
After being engaged for one year, Jeezy and Jeannie got married on March 27, 2021, at their Atlanta home.
According to the divorce filing, the couple were already separated, and they have signed a prenuptial agreement.
Things were all good just a week ago because Jeannie posted an adorable video of her and their beautiful daughter Monaco Mai Jenkins celebrating Jeezy’s book, Adversity For Sale, making the New York Times bestseller’s list.
Reportedly, Jeezy has filed for joint custody of their one-year-old daughter Monaco.
Details are sketchy concerning what prompted Jeezy’s decision to file for divorce, but of course, Twitter is already rolling out the jokes.

This news kind of shocked me. I’m not all in their business but I was not expecting this. Definitely wasn’t expecting HIM to be the one to file. Makes me wonder what his last straw was
