Jaden Smith will host “The Solution Committee“, a new Snapchat series that will focus on social and racial justice – and encourage viewers to vote. The show’s description makes me think back to the “Teen Summit” days.
“The Solution Committee” will allow Jaden’s celebrity friends and young activists to connect with the youth and give them a better understanding of voting and social issues.
The celebrity guest that will be on the show includes, Yara Shahidi, Janelle Monáe, Common, Hailey Bieber, Phoebe Robinson, Lena Waithe, and Willow Smith, of course.
The eight-episode series is set to premiere exclusively on Snapchat on September 21, one day prior to National Voter Registration Day. New episodes will come out on Monday, Wednesday, & Friday.
At the end of each episode, there will be a swipe-up with a link to let the viewer register to vote.
Each episode will focus on one issue, and a young activist working to help their community resolve that issue.
The first two episodes will tackle the topics of “How to Vote” and “The Power of Your Vote”.
“Historically, people between the ages of 18 to 23 have been less likely to vote,” Jaden Smith said. “This is because a lot of young people feel like they don’t have the information or know where to get it. This show is about educating the youth and making sure they feel empowered and ready to vote.”
“Snap is committed to bringing our community shows that connect them to the issues they care about most,” said Snap’s head of content, Sean Mills. “We’re inspired by the work of Jaden and these young activists to spark real conversation and action that can create change, and we are thrilled to partner again with Westbrook Media to bring this powerful series to Snapchat.”

Given the times we are living in, this show is very necessary, and I’m sure the celebrity guest will engage and captivate the viewers.
Save the date (September 21) for your children or any young adults you may know for the premiere of “The Solution Committee”.
