HBO is cranking up the chills with a sneak peek at its newest horror series, “IT: Welcome to Derry“, set to drop in 2025.
This eagerly awaited original series, born from Stephen King‘s spine-tingling universe, dives deeper into the eerie town of Derry, Maine, promising a fresh chapter for fans of King’s notorious novel “IT” and its terrifying big-screen adaptations.
Helmed by Warner Bros. Television, “IT: Welcome to Derry” reunites filmmakers Andy and Barbara Muschietti, who directed both “IT” movies, with Jason Fuchs (Wonder Woman, Argylle), a trio committed to taking Pennywise and the sinister town’s story to haunting new depths.
Expect the chills to debut on HBO with streaming available on Max.
With a strong nine-episode lineup, four of which are directed by Andy Muschietti, the series promises to dig deeper into the mysteries of Derry, amplifying the horror that captivated audiences in IT and IT Chapter Two.
