💔 What Happened To Isaac Leal?

Isaac Leal, a 17-year-old student and baseball player at South Grand Prairie High School, is now fighting for his life after suffering a devastating head injury while playing the popular but controversial high school game, Senior Assassin.

The incident occurred on April 20 when Isaac fell off the back of a moving Jeep during gameplay.

🚨 Understanding ‘Senior Assassin

  • What It Is: A senior year tradition at many schools where students playfully “eliminate” each other using water or Nerf guns.
  • The Risks: Despite its harmless intent, the game has stirred controversy for encouraging dangerous behavior and water guns resembling real firearms.

According to Isaac’s mother, Raquel Vazquez, her son jumped on the back of a parked Jeep driven by another student.

The girl allegedly drove at a high speed for five minutes before hitting a dip, which caused Isaac to be thrown from the vehicle, striking his head on the pavement.

🏥 Isaac Leal’s Condition And Family’s Plea

Isaac remains in critical condition at Medical City Arlington.

His mother shared that he’s too unstable to be moved, and even rolling him in bed affects his vitals.

“We’re going to keep fighting for my son,” she told CBS News Texas.

A GoFundMe launched for Isaac’s medical expenses has raised over $21,000 so far.

👮🏽 Investigation Underway

The Arlington Police Department confirmed they were unaware of the incident until May 3 when Isaac’s family reached out.

The case is now under investigation, and the family is seeking justice and accountability.

South Grand Prairie High’s administration has warned students that participation in “Senior Assassin” on or near school grounds could result in disciplinary actions, including losing senior privileges.
