Prime Video is kicking off Black History Month with the Season 2 premiere of “Harlem” and we’ve got the brand-spanking new trailer!

The hit comedy series from Tracy Oliver, starring Meagan Good, Grace Byers, Jerrie Johnson, and Shoniqua Shandai, will premiere on February 3, 2023.

Harlem” follows four stylish and ambitious best girlfriends in Harlem NYC, the mecca of Black culture in America.

Camille is a popular young anthropology professor at Columbia with extensive knowledge of the dating norms of many cultures, but has a hard time navigating her own love life; Tye is a successful, queer dating app creator who prefers keeping vulnerability—and romantic partners—at arm’s length; Quinn is a hopeless romantic and trust fund fashion designer who is trying to give back to the world while running a struggling business; Angie is a confident, vibrant, and filter-free singer and actress who also lives rent-free and fabulously with Quinn.

Together, they level up from their 20s into the next phase of their careers, relationships, and big-city dreams.

Season 2 of “Harlem” will include a love triangle between Camille; her ex-fiancé, Ian; and her current boyfriend, Jameson.

Quinn explores her sexuality; Tye confronts her physical health, and Angie works toward financial stability.

Tracy Oliver told Harper’s Bazaar, “Thematically, this season is overwhelmingly about Black joy and finding our happiness in the little things in life and learning to accept our version of womanhood, whatever that may be, instead of what society dictates.”

She also revealed the ladies are going on a girl’s trip to Puerto Rico.

There’s lots of fun adventures in Season 2, but the one I’m most excited about is our girls go to Puerto Rico for a girls trip.

Just by calling it a ‘girls trip,’ I was definitely making an obvious nod to my movie.

But as far as what happens on the trip, we creatively did our own thing, and it tonally leans into fun, but also the cathartic, soul-cleansing aspects of traveling to a new place.
