Halle Berry took to social media to address being called “crazy” for most of her adult life.
The 56-year-old actress and mother of two shared a super inspiring Nike commercial, featuring and narrated by Serena Williams.
The powerful ad features amazing girls and women in sports who have broken barriers and excelling.
Nike ends the ad with the statement, “It’s only crazy until you do it. Just do it.”
Halle Berry shared the ad and addressed her own experience of being labeled as “crazy.”
She noted that it started with her past lovers and people used the label to undermine her journey.
Now, she embraces it with pride and encouraged other women to dare to be crazy!

It started with past lovers and those who wanted me to just be pretty and be quiet! It’s a label that has dogged my life and tried to undermine my journey.
Today, I wear that label with pride as I continue to show them what crazy can do!
