Funk Flex recently took to his Instagram account to respond to Griselda rapper Conway The Machine calling him “an old gatekeeper who needs to be replaced” on Hot 97 radio.

Flex posted a clip of Conway’s IG Live video calling him out, and he captioned the video with this response:

HAHAHA! HUH? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ WHY DO I GET ON THE NERVES OF MULTI PLATINUM / WORLD WIDE TOURING ARTIST LIKE GRISELDA? MANAGED BY ROCKNATION AND SIGNED TO EMINEM / INTERSCOPE?

IM OLD.. OVER THE HILL… IRRELEVANT… PLUS IM NOT IN TUNE WITH THE NEW GENERATION! πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ
MY SUPPORT IS PRETTY MUCH NOT NEEDED? πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ
πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

WHY DO I MAKE SO MANY PEOPLE SO UPSET?

Flex continued his response in the comment section of his post, and he challenged Conway to debate him.

Conway responded:

Conway’s opinion of Funk Flex is not new. Other rappers have voiced the same sentiments about Flex in the past.

But, there is some history with Flex and Griselda that goes back five years ago when Benny The Butcher and Conway came up to Flex’s show and destroyed the booth lyrically, but Flex seemed very unimpressed.

Watch the video below:

The leader of Griselda, Westside Gunn, addressed the Hot 97 freestyle and said he don’t f**k with Flex because of the way he was acting while Benny and Conway were dropping bars.

Benny and Conway are some of the best lyricists in the rap game today, but for whatever reason, Funk Flex doesn’t agree.
