D. Woods has returned to Twitter after a 15-month hiatus to send words of support to Cassie.
Cassie, whose real name is Casandra Ventura, filed a lawsuit in Federal District Court in Manhattan accusing music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs of rape, physical abuse, and sex trafficking.
D. Woods competed on Diddy’s “Making The Band 3” and was chosen to be a part of the girl group Danity Kane, who was signed to his Bad Boy Records imprint.
The singer and actress, who hasn’t posted on Twitter since August 2022, shared, “I haven’t posted anything on this platform for a very long time, but today … there is a very good reason to.”
D. Woods went on to share a beautiful message of support for her former label mate.
Self Worth, Peace of Mind and the Right to Speak your TRUTH…
You are incredibly brave to shine light on what you endured in the dark. I’m sorry you had to go through it alone. I’m praying for your continued strength and I offer my full support to you.

D. Woods is the third former member of Danity Kane to speak out in support of Cassie along with Dawn Richard and Aubrey O’Day.
