A “Flavor Of Love” reboot is in the works from 51 Minds Entertainment.

I purposely saved this post so you wouldn’t think it was an April Fool’s joke.

According to Deadline, Julia Pizzie, who recently took over 51 Minds, is working with Public Enemy legend Flavor Flav to develop a fresh version of his hit VH1 reality TV dating show.

The Flavor Of Love” originally premiered in 2006 and documented twenty single women who moved into a Los Angeles mansion to date and compete for the love of Flavor Flav.

The show features recognizable figures like Tiffany “New York” Pollard and Chandra “Deelishis” Davis.

Julia told Deadline, “We’re in the process of working with Flavor Flav to reimagine what Flavor of Love can feel like in this in this decade, which is very different. The project is really fun, a comedy in the dating space.”

Flav, whose real name is William Drayton Jr., will not be the eligible bachelor this go-round.

He actually took to Instagram and called the announcement a “complete lie” and said he has no interest or involvement in the reboot.

FLAVOR FLAV::: An article was published this morning in Deadline about me that is a complete lie,,, I am NOT involved with a Flavor of Love reboot and have no interest.

I am partnered with a new production company and together we are developing concepts that highlight where I am now as a person,,, vs where I was.

You can’t get to the next chapter by staying on the same page. This clock round my neck is moving forward, not backwards. ⏰

See Flav’s original post below.

The truth of the matter is because 51 Minds owns the “Flavor of Love” brand…they can move forward with the reboot with or without Flav.

Where can you expect the reboot to land?

Julia Pizzie shared, “We have such a deep relationship with Paramount so we will absolutely take it to them first, but we will also shop it around.”

Would you be here for a “Flavor of Love” reboot?
