Fivio Foreign, the New York rapper, who has collaborated with Drake, Alicia Keys, and Kanye West, recently revealed on “The Million Dollars Worth of Game” podcast that Mase signed him for a $5,000 advance.
Fivio said he didn’t know any better at the time, and the person that brought him to Ma$e convinced him to sign the contract without consulting a lawyer.
At the time, he thought the $5,000 was going to last, but it only lasted for two weeks.
Shockingly, Fivio revealed that he is still in the contract with Ma$e.

Given Mase’s history with his Bad Boy contract, it is alarming that he would treat another artist like this.
Fivio Foreign’s 2019 hit single “Big Drip” garnered him respect in the rap game, and it led to collaborations with some of music’s elite.
He released his debut album, B.I.B.L.E. on July 15, 2022.
Fivio doesn’t appear to be hurting for money at all, and despite only receiving a $5000 advance he said that Mase does know the business.
Fivio Foreign is currently signed to Mase’s RichFish Records and Columbia Records.
