Whew, Frens. This family feud just spilled all over Al Gore’s internet. Fantasia blasted her father Joseph Barrino after he accused her husband Kendall Taylor of stealing money and called their Valentine’s Day re-proposal “fake cry bull crap.”
Fantasia reluctantly had to put her daddy on full blast after he tried to take the shine off her viral Valentine’s Day moment.
Instead of celebrating love, we got accusations, Facebook rants, and some very personal receipts.
In case you missed it, let me catch you up.
During Fantasia’s Valentine’s Day show in Houston, Kendall Taylor interrupted the concert to deliver a heartfelt speech and re-proposed with an 11-carat ring, one carat for every year they’ve been together.
It was emotional. It was beautiful. Social media was swooning.
But while fans were celebrating the moment, Joseph Barrino jumped on Facebook and sounded off.
He wrote:
FAKE CRY BULL CRAP…HES GIVING BACK SOME OF THE MISSING MONEY THE FIRED FINANCIAL COMMITTEE SAYS HES PROBABLY STOLE..
THAT THEY COULDNT ACCOUNT FOR…YALL PRAY FOR FANTASIA!
I HATE THIS FOR HER!
And when fans called him out for bringing drama and accusations into what should have been a joyful moment, he doubled down:
WHERE WILL YOU BE IF HE TAKES HER DOWN…THINK ON THAT..AND GET YOU SOME BUSINESS! YOU FOLLOWED HER AND ALL YOU WANT IS HER ENTERTAINMENT.. I THINK ABT HER LIFE..
SHE ALREADY HAD 1 TRAUMA OF SUICIDAL ISSUES.. AND ALL YOU DID WAS…GOD HELP HER!!! FAKE ASS FANS. LIFE GRABBERS!!!
TELL YOUR SON OR DAUGHTER TO GO GET THEM SOME ENTERTAINMENT. SO THEY CAN PERFORM FOR YOU!
Then, Papa Barrino went Live on Facebook to elaborate on his claims.
Welp. Fantasia was not about to let her moment stay hijacked.
She took to Instagram and posted her father’s mugshot along with his rap sheet, which reportedly included domestic violence charges.
And baby, her caption was direct.
I wasn’t Going to do this but this has Gotten Out of Hand. Joesph Barrino I cant even call you Dad or a Father, you are a DONOR!!!
We have covered for you long enough. My Mom and Me have made you LOOK like you were and Okay Man but NOW YOU HAVE COME FOR MY KING!!!

How can someone steal if I Fantasia Taylor is the CEO and My King Kendall Taylor is the President of ALL OUR COMPANIES.

After posting, Fantasia later deleted her post.
Then she shifted the narrative back to what it was supposed to be about in the first place. Love.
She shared a new video from her Valentine’s Day moment and wrote:
“You took my moment but I’m taking it BACK!!! Salute to you @salute1st 🫡❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️4 Ever @sp_projectllc”
And honestly, that part right there says a lot.
Family drama is one thing. Family drama in front of millions is something else entirely.
But Fantasia made it clear she is standing beside her husband and reclaiming her joy.
