‘F9: The Fast Saga’ Speeds Into The Box Office With $70M

F9: The Fast Saga, the 9th installment of the Fast and Furious franchise, sped into a $70 million opening weekend at the box office.

The film, starring Vin Diesel, John Cena, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Sung Kang, with Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron, was originally slated to open in theaters on May 22, 2020.

Due to the pandemic, F9 was pushed back several times to the point where fans seemed to lose interest in the film.

I think it’s safe to say with a $70 million opening weekend and $404 million worldwide…folks are always down to get Fast and Furious.
