After the Game 6 loss and elimination from the Finals, Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra got very emotional at the post-game press conference.
The Miami Heat lost Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night in blow-out fashion at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers.
During the post-game press conference, a reporter asked Spoelstra:
Is it tough in this moment to reflect on what this moment meant, what this journey meant to you guys, what this franchise was a year and a half ago… is it?
See Speolstra’s reaction to the question in the video below:
Spoelstra’s awkward dry cry shows how passionate and connected he is to his team.
He’s maintained throughout the playoff run how special this year’s team was.
The Miami Heat have nothing to be ashamed of for losing to a Los Angeles Lakers team with LeBron James and Anthony Davis on it in six games.
As coach Spoelstra mentioned it was a memorable experience that will last forever.
Spoelstra is now 2-2 in the Finals with the Miami Heat and he is the kind of coach that truly wants the best for his players.
We wish Erik Spoelstra and the Miami Heat all the best in the 2021 NBA season.
