🧠 What To Know About ALS
ALS—also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease—attacks nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, gradually weakening the muscles used to walk, speak, eat, and breathe.
There’s currently no cure, and life expectancy after diagnosis is typically three to five years.
However, some people live much longer.
Every case is different, and medical advancements are evolving.
