Eminem is celebrating 12 years of sobriety!
The 47-year-old Hip Hop star took to Instagram on Monday and posted a photo of his sobriety coin with the caption:
Clean dozen, in the books! I’m not afraid.

The Grammy Award-winning artist has been very transparent about his struggles with Vicodin, Ambien, Valium, and methadone.

You may recall, he overdosed on methadone in 2007.
In a 2010 interview with the New York Times, Eminem said:
I didn’t know it was methadone. I used to get pills wherever I could.
I was just taking anything that anybody was giving to me.
It’s awesome to know Em is now living a clean and sober life!
