SZA unfollowed Drake on social media on Friday (October 2) after the rapper claimed they dated in 2008 on 21 Savage‘s new album.
In a song titled, “Mr. Right Now,” Drake raps:
Cause I used to date SZA back in ’08/if you cool with it, baby, she can still play

Fans have done the math and concluded that Drake was 22 and Sza was 18 in 2008, and many fans are reportedly upset because he was in his 20s dating a teenager.
If they dated before her birthday then the fans might have a point, but if Sza was 18 when they started dating – she was an adult.
Below is a pic of Drake and Sza from 3 years ago in Toronto when he came out to support her CTRL Tour.
I must be missing something here because I do not see the issue unless Sza didn’t want anyone to know that she and Drake use to date. But, what is the harm in that?
I guess the only two people who know the truth are Drake and Sza.
She has not confirmed or denied dating Drake, but her actions show that she is not pleased with it becoming public knowledge.
