Drake Announces Scary Hours 3

The announcement comes just a month after the release of his eighth studio album, For All The Dogs, three days after he announced his It’s All A Blur: Big As The What? Tour with J. Cole, and hours after the release of his epic “First Person Shooter” video.

In the promo video for Scary Hours 3, Drake explained his motivation behind releasing the project.

I’ll say this to you, I’m not…I feel no need to appease anybody. I feel so confident about the body of work that I just dropped that I know I can go and disappear for whatever, six months, a year, two years, even though I’m not really into the super lengthy disappearances for the sake of mystery.

You know ultimately, it’s coming to me in a way that I haven’t experienced since like, If You’re Reading This…where it’s just kinda like – I feel like I’m on drugs. I feel like I’m in that mental state without doing anything. I did those songs in the last five days.

Twitter Credits Joe Budden For New Drake Release

Drake’s announcement of Scary Hours 3 prompted Joe Budden to trend on X (formerly Twitter).

You may recall that Joe criticized Drake for making music that seemingly hasn’t matured with age.

Drake, who once praised Joe Budden as one of his faves, lambasted him as a failed rapper who has to podcast to pay his bills.
