Drake took to the streets of Instagram on Thursday (August 4) to announce the Young Money Reunion Show has been rescheduled for this Saturday (August 6).
The highly anticipated reunion, featuring Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj, was originally scheduled to take place on Monday (August 1), but the show was postponed after Drake announced he had tested positive for Covid-19.
The Certified Lover Boy took to Instagram writing:
I am truly devastated to say that I tested positive for Covid and the Young Money Reunion show scheduled for tonight is being rescheduled to the SOONEST date possible.
I will keep the city posted and share the new date whenever we have it locked.
Until then I hope everyone stays safe and healthy and I love you all I am so sorry for letting you down on our weekend together and the moment I test negative I will give you everything I got on stage (except the Covid) ?
Three days later, Drake returned to Instagram to announce he has tested negative and the show is going down this Saturday.
He wrote, “Negative test…positive outcome…this was the only date available until the fall, and because the family is so solid everybody is flying back in to make it happen for you all…SEE YOU SATURDAY…young moulaaa”
See his original post below.
Now, I don’t know how Canadian immune systems work, but I have NEVER heard of anyone contracting Covid and getting over it in three days.
But, God is good and y’all enjoy the Young Money Reunion Show.
