A major change is coming to “Divorce Court.” Fox will be replacing long-time star, Judge Lynn Toler, with Faith Jenkins.
The news comes as a shock considering Lynn Toler’s 13-year tenure on the show.
Stephen Brown, EVP of Programming for Fox Television Stations gushed about the change saying:
We are confident that Judge Faith’s energy and passion for each case will build on the legacy of this program created by the exceptional talents of Judge Mablean and Judge Lynn Toler.
Lynn Toler quietly exited the show several months ago and they’ve been on the hunt for talent to replace her.
I think Judge Faith can get the job done.
In a post on her Instagram page, Judge Faith shared:
Judge Lynn has been a trailblazer in so many ways but especially in the court tv genre. It’s an honor to follow in her footsteps on the longest running court show on television!
I still remember watching Judge Mablean on this show when I was in law school. As the first black woman to have a court show on tv she broke barriers for so many including me.
Thank you both. And see you all in September on @divorcecourt ???

I think Faith will do a great job on the bench!
Her fiancé, Kenny Lattimore, does as well. He took to Instagram writing:
Congratulations!
