Fans have taken to social media to express concern and send up prayers for Spice.
Conflicting reports claim the Grammy-nominated Jamaican Dancehall artist and “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star suffered serious health complications following a cosmetic procedure in the Dominican Republic.
Rumors claiming Spice, born Grace Hamilton, had suffered a heart attack and was in a coma spread like a wildfire across social media.
Minister Marion Hall, formerly known as the “Queen of Dancehall” Lady Saw, took to her Instagram Live and prayed for Spice when she heard the news.
The ladies have had a complicated past, so it was very impactful when Minister Marion prayed:
God of Glory, I place Grace Hamilton at your feet. We had a lot of stuff – some accusations of me doing evil – but God, today I understand this word you have given me. I am not bitter, God.
You took away my bitterness…yes, there are times I cry over accusations…but I pray that you will not just revive her, but also strengthen her.
It doesn’t matter what she did to me…you know, God, I have never done evil to her. Never. I had loved her with a pure, loving heart. I was there for her, God. You be there for her now, Lord. Bring her back out of the darkness into your light, God.

Minister Marion Hall later returned to social media to address attention-seeking people who gave her information that she was unable to confirm after the fact.
Spice’s booking agent, Ray Alexander, told Loop News on Wednesday, “She didn’t suffer a heart attack and she is not in a coma.”
Why is her booking agent speaking out and not Spice’s manager or a family member?
Fans find it odd that Spice, who is known to be swift in shutting down rumors and false information about herself, hasn’t spoken out to shut down the troubling rumors concerning her health.
However, on October 17, the “Go Down Deh” singer announced she would be taking a social media hiatus.
I’ll be off of Instagram for a while, I’m tired of being their only target for clout and click bait. Let’s see if they’re still gonna talk about “Only Me”.
I refuse to answer to the noise they creating to gain my attention. Every morning I wake up to something else.
“I fight so hard to be where I’m now getting a fight for” MERRY CHRISTMAS ? ? EVERYONE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR WHEN IT COMES ??

Some feel the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star was only setting the stage for her downtime following surgery.
You may recall in November 2020, Spice opened up about getting her breasts done.
In a now-deleted post, she wrote, “This picture was before I bought my breast. I Always use to hate that I had to hold them up to look sexy ??? My daughter used to call me Slippers Titi. Not anymore Doc I thank you bye.”
Despite the confusion, fans are still expressing concern and sending up prayers for Spice.
