BET+ and Starbound Studios have just completed filming the holiday movie “Brewster’s Millions: Christmas,” a fresh take on the classic novel by George Barr McCutcheon.
This BET+ Original film, produced by Joseph Nasser, aims to capture the true essence of the holiday season with a heartwarming story that’s perfect for viewers of all ages.
In “Brewster’s Millions: Christmas,” the spotlight is on Morgan Brewster, portrayed by China Anne McClain, who faces a unique challenge: to inherit her uncle Montgomery’s fortune before Christmas.
As Morgan and her friends dive into the festive madness, they uncover the real meaning of the season—finding love, faith, and the importance of giving over receiving.
Directed by Patricia Cuffie Jones, the movie features an impressive cast, including Romeo Miller as Andrew, Richard Pryor Jr. as Montgomery Brewster, and Rain Pryor as Opal.
The film also stars Telma Hopkins, Tequan Richmond, and Sierra McClain, delivering a blend of humor, heartfelt moments, and original songs that will resonate with audiences.
McClain, who also serves as an Executive Producer, has an extensive background in both film and television, with credits including “Descendants: The Rise of Red,” “Grown Ups,” and “Black Lightning.”
Reflecting on her experience, Rain Pryor shared, “Working on this film felt like being part of a family. I know my dad was watching from above.”
Richard Pryor Jr. added, “It was an honor to step into the role of Monty Brewster, even for a brief moment.”
“Brewster’s Millions: Christmas” is set to premiere on December 5, 2024, exclusively on BET+.
