You can literally knock me over with a feather! Chance The Rapper and his wife, Kirsten Bennett, have announced they are ending their marriage.
In a joint statement, released on Wednesday (April 3), the couple wrote:
After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways.
We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.
God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together.
We kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate this transition. Thank you.

Chance The Rapper, whose real name is Chancelor Bennett, tied the knot with Kirsten Corley in 2019.
He met her when they were just nine years old when his parents took him to an office party in 2003.
Kirsten and two other girls performed at the party and he recalled the moment in an Instagram post, “I was just staring at her; as she and her girls were conquering this choreography and mastering the art of lip-syncing in a way even the most professional performers have yet to accomplish.”
He added: ‘I knew I was going to marry that girl. So I shook my head with anxiety, moved to the back of the crowd and never introduced myself.”
It’s very sad to see Chance The Rapper and Kirsten’s marriage come to an end.
