Boosie Badazz was arrested by federal agents on Wednesday (June 14).
The rapper, whose real name is Torrence Hatch Jr., appeared in court for a previous gun case.
Boosie was relieved after the gun case was dismissed, but when he exited the courthouse, he was taken into custody by federal agents in connection to another case.
This story is developing and the details surrounding why Boosie Badazz was scooped up by the feds have not been disclosed.
Ironically, the day before his arrest, Boosie took to Instagram to share that he will make it his business to watch rap murder trials because it’s educational.
The 40-year-old Baton Rouge rapper also added that he wants to study law and he thinks he would be a good defense attorney.
Boosie Badazz wrote:
I’m not missing no more rap murder trials! This s**t is education. No 🧢.
Watching the defense and prosecution drop bars then looking at the jurors tryin to read them is crazy!
I want to study law. I want to try it. I think I can be a defense attorney or at least help some attorneys out!
I’m motivated.

It looks like Boosie Badazz better study quickly given his current circumstances.
Update: Boosie took to Twitter on Wednesday evening and issued an apology to his children.
I WANNA TAKE THIS TIME TO APOLOGIZE TO MY KIDS , IM SORRY AND I LOVE YALL FOREVER 🙏🏾
