Bebe Rexha suffered an eye injury on Sunday night (June 18) after she was hit in the face with a cell phone while performing on stage.

The “Meant To Be” singer was performing at the Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York as part of her “Best F’n Night of My Life” tour when the incident occurred.

A video that is circulating on social media shows Bebe being hit in the face with the phone.

She then grabs her eye, turns from the crowd, and drops to her knees as her team rushes to her aid.

New York Police were notified of the assault and a preliminary investigation “determined that a 27-year-old male intentionally threw a cell phone” at Bebe Rexha.

Nicolas Malvagna was arrested on scene and charged with assault while Bebe was removed by EMS to an area hospital in stable condition.

Bebe Rexha took to social media on Monday and shared two photos of her eye injury.

But, she reassured everyone that she is okay by simply captioning the post with, “I’m good.”

I will never understand why people will pay money to go to a concert just to do awful things like this.

Hopefully, Bebe Rexha will heal emotionally and physically from this and remain safe for the remainder of her tour.
