20th Century Studios has released the official trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water and it’s beautiful.
The highly anticipated sequel is set more than a decade after the events of the first film.
Avatar: The Way of Water begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake Sully, played by Sam Worthington, Na’vi Neytiri, played by Zoe Saldaña, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.
The teaser trailer, released in May, with a running time of fewer than two minutes, garnered 148.6 million views worldwide in 24 hours.
The official trailer below has received a massive 1 million views in one hour.
Avatar: The Way of Water, directed by James Cameron and produced by Cameron and Jon Landau, the Lightstorm Entertainment Production, opens in theaters on December 16, 2022.
The film reportedly has a runtime of three hours and ten minutes.
