Ashanti has been trending in the streets of Twitter ever since the news broke about Nelly’s arrest in St. Louis.
In case you missed it, the “Country Grammar” rapper, whose real name is Cornell Haynes Jr., was taken into custody around 4:45 a.m. early Wednesday morning.
The arrest followed a routine traffic stop during which officers discovered four ecstasy pills in Nelly’s vehicle.
Additionally, it was revealed that he was driving without insurance.
For the record…
Nelly’s attorney, Scott Rosenblum, says the rapper was never charged with drug possession.
Rosenblum also said the warrant for no car insurance was from a traffic stop in December 2018 and Nelly was never notified about a warrant.

As of Thursday afternoon, Ashanti is still trending as her supporters express concern over her husband “embarrassing her” and acting up after she spun the block.
