Anthony Mackie is set to produce and star in Netflix’s upcoming action-adventure, “The Ogun.”
According to Variety, the film will center on Anthony’s character, Xavier Rhodes, who takes his teenage daughter to Nigeria to find a cure for the rare genetic condition that he passed on to her.
When his daughter is kidnapped, Rhodes goes on a rampage through the criminal underworld to find her before it’s too late.
Whew! That’s a lot going on. I’ll be tuned in with my popcorn and a cold pop.
“The Ogun” was written by Madison Turner. A director has yet to be attached to the project.
