Anita Baker Calls JAY-Z & Beyoncé ‘A Love Song In Real-Time’

Anita Baker was moved by JAY-Z’s acceptance speech while accepting the Global Impact Award at the 2024 Grammys, as well as Beyoncé‘s reaction to it.

The legendary soul singer took to her Twitter timeline and called Mr. and Mrs. Carter a “love song…in real-time.”

Anita Baker reposted a photo of Beyoncé watching as her husband called out the Grammys for never giving her an award for Album of the Year when she is the most decorated artist in Grammy history.

The “Sweet Love” singer wrote:
