I’m sad to report Al Roker was rushed back to the hospital 24 hours after being released.

On November 18, the 68-year-old beloved “Today” anchor revealed he was admitted to the hospital after a blood clot in his leg “sent some clots” into his lungs.

“So many of you have been thoughtfully asking where I’ve been. Last week I was admitted to the hospital with a blood clot in my leg which sent some clots into my lungs. After some medical whack-a-mole, I am so fortunate to be getting terrific medical care and on the way to recovery. Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers and hope to see you soon. Have a great weekend, everyone.”

Thankfully, Al Roker was released from the hospital on Thanksgiving Day and returned to social media to post a video of him walking out.

Later that day, Al posted a beautiful family photo of himself, his wife, Deborah Roberts, and his children, daughter Leila Roker, 24, son Nicholas Roker, 20, and daughter Courtney Roker, 35, from his previous marriage to Alice Bell.

Unfortunately, Page Six is reporting Al was rushed back to the hospital the very next day.

One witness told Page Six, “Al was taken from his home in a stretcher back to the hospital on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. His condition was worrying, but once back in the hospital, he improved.

The good news is Al Roker receiving great care and showing improvement.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers for a full and speedy recovery.
