Season 4’s Record-Breaking Numbers

Season 4 of “Abbott Elementary” has been nothing short of spectacular.

The January 8 crossover episode with FXX’s “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” brought in record-breaking ratings:

  • Total viewers: 8.05 million
  • Adults 18-49 rating: 2.57
  • Streaming performance: Achieved the highest episode views on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ within seven days.

Notably, these impressive numbers exclude the iconic post-Oscars episode from last season, making the success of this season even more remarkable.

The Genius Behind “Abbott Elementary”

Produced by Warner Bros. Television and 20th Television (part of Disney Television Studios), “Abbott Elementary” tells the hilarious yet heartfelt story of a group of teachers at an underfunded public school in Philadelphia.

The show’s stellar cast includes:

Quinta Brunson leads the creative team as executive producer, alongside Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, Randall Einhorn, and Brian Rubenstein.

What’s Coming Up In Season 4?

Season 4 of “Abbott Elementary” airs on Wednesdays on ABC, with episodes available to stream the next day on Hulu.

In the January 22 episode, the teachers face a relatable challenge: adapting to hybrid learning as a city bus strike prevents many students from attending school.

This storyline is another example of how the show weaves real-world issues into its comedic narrative.
