Fat Joe and Ja Rule battled tonight on the Verzuz stage at Madison Square Garden, and Twitter crowned Ja Rule the winner.
Joe performed a lot of his older songs first, and Ja Rule wisely performed some of his hits and took the crowd and the momentum early.
Remy Ma came out to assist Joe to help him stay in the battle, and Ja Rule countered by bringing out Vita and Lil Mo.
Fat Joe took a weird intermission during the battle and returned with a new outfit on.
When Ashanti finally came out she performed three straight songs, two with Ja and one with Joe.
Before Joe performed “Lean Back” he gifted Rema and Ashanti with Birkin bags.
Ja and Joe ended the show performing “New York,” and Jadakiss came out as a surprise guest.
