NBA guard Lemon Pepper Lou Williams was traded back to Magic Ci… the Atlanta Hawks today and Twitter had all the jokes.
For those that don’t know the backstory, former Clippers guard Lou Williams left the NBA playoff bubble in Orlando last year to attend a funeral.
The Clippers organization had no problem allowing him to leave the bubble, but when a picture surfaced of Lou Will with rapper Jack Harlow at Magic City, one of Atlanta’s famous gentlemen clubs, eyebrows were raised and suspicion started to seep in.
Note: The picture that was in question is the title photo.
When Lou Williams was questioned about the picture, he said he stopped by Magic City to get some lemon pepper wings after he had attended the funeral.
The story blew up in both social and sports media and the moniker Lemon Pepper Lou was born.
Magic City took advantage of the hype and put Lemon Pepper Lou Wings on their menu.

Now that you’re all caught up, scoop the hilarious tweets below of Lou Williams getting traded from the Los Angeles Clippers back to the Atlanta Hawks.
The last time the three-time NBA sixth man of the year suited up in a Hawks jersey was in 2014, and speaking as a Atlanta Hawks and Magic City fan we are happy to have him back.
