2 Chainz is feeding the homeless instead of opening his Atlanta restaurant.
The Hip Hop star came under fire after Snoop Dillard announced their plans to reopen Escobar Restaurant & Tapas on Monday (April 27).
The news came on the heels of Georgia Governor Brian Kemp announcing his premature plans of reopening business amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Less than 24 hours after 2 Chainz’s business partner, Snoop made the announcement, they announced a change of plans after drawing backlash and criticism.
After careful consideration, we are not going to open our restaurants on Monday. It has not officially been decided when we will start having dine-in service.
On the day the restaurant was supposed to open, 2 Chainz took to Instagram writing:
Instead Of opening @escobaratlanta up today we decided to feed the homeless.
