Reesa Teesa, the woman who had social media in a chokehold with her “Who TF Did I Marry” series on TikTok, is now addressing inaccurate reports about her earnings from the series.

‘Who TF Did I Marry?’

In case you missed it, Reesa shared the story of how she dated, married, and divorced a pathological liar during the 2020 pandemic.

Reesa Teesa detailed her horrific experience in a series of 50 10-minute videos posted on TikTok.

She would also share additional videos adding context or answering questions about certain events that she shared.

How Much Money Did Reesa Teesa Make On TikTok?

Since sharing her cautionary tale that is just waiting to be picked up as a Netflix series, Reesa Teesa has garnered 3 million followers on TikTok and over 207 million views on her series.

It didn’t take long before folks started pocketbook-watching Reesa and sharing videos on the platform trying to guesstimate how much money she earned from sharing her story.

One video claimed she made at least $82,000 for the series while another TikToker estimated she made about $300,000.

Watch their breakdowns below.

Reesa Teesa addressed all of the speculations about her coins saying the estimates are wrong.

The stories about the amount of money that I’ve made on TikTok with this whole ‘Who TF Did I Marry’ series is wildly inaccurate.

Reesa went on to explain that she was not in TikTok’s Creator’s Fund when she started the series, which essentially means her content wasn’t eligible to earn money.

I didn’t get approved for it until like midway into the series, right?

So, all the videos I did beforehand weren’t even counted for the Creator Fund and then it’s only counted based off of the eligible views.

So, if you do the math it’s not that much.

But, here’s the kicker – guess who got suspended out of the Creator Fund?! Yup!

I got suspended because I had multiple violations because I had re-uploaded some of the videos in the series and you can’t do that so…

For the next 30 days, I am not making any money from the videos.

I am merely making these videos from the heart.

But, don’t sleep. Sis, ain’t slow.

Reesa Teesa has her CashApp prominently placed on her TikTok profile in case you’re feeling generous.

She also shared that she has an idea for an additional series (less long) that she can share and monetize in the future.

While I appreciate Reesa Teesa’s transparency…I think she should have also offered a gentle reminder for folks to mind their own bank statements.
