Get ready, Dexter fans! Paramount+ with SHOWTIME unveiled an exclusive first look at the highly-anticipated prequel series “Dexter: Original Sin” during CCXP in São Paolo, Brazil.
Cast members Patrick Gibson (Dexter Morgan), Christian Slater (Harry Morgan), Molly Brown (Debra Morgan), special guest star Sarah Michelle Gellar (Tanya Martin), and Patrick Dempsey (Aaron Spencer) joined the panel to share insights and excitement for the show’s upcoming debut.
The 10-episode series, which chronicles the origin story of America’s favorite serial killer in training, premieres Friday, December 13, on streaming and on-demand for Paramount+ subscribers with the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan.
It will also air on SHOWTIME on Sunday, December 15, at 10 p.m.
What Is “Dexter: Original Sin”?
Serving as a prequel to the award-winning series “Dexter,” “Dexter: Original Sin” takes viewers back to 1991 Miami, where a young Dexter (Patrick Gibson) transitions from an ordinary student to an avenging serial killer.
Struggling to control his dark impulses, Dexter learns to channel his urges under the guidance of his adoptive father, Harry Morgan (Christian Slater).
Harry introduces Dexter to a strict Code: target those who deserve to be eliminated while staying off law enforcement’s radar.
The stakes are higher than ever as Dexter begins a forensics internship at the Miami Metro Police Department, where he must juggle his thirst for justice with the risk of exposure.
