Venom: Let There Be Carnage has been slated to open in theaters next summer.
On Tuesday (April 21), Sony Pictures announced the sequel to the 2018 film, starring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, will be released on June 25, 2021.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage was set to hit theaters on October 2, but…Rona.
The pandemic shut down production of the film leaving the movie studio with no choice but to push the film back to a later date.
Let’s focus on the good news…Tom Hardy will reprise his role, Woody Harrelson is joining the cast as the villain, Carnage, and Andy Serkis (Claw from Black Panther) is directing the film.
