In the pods, Tyler Francis and Ashley Adionser developed a sight-unseen love that almost made me envious.
However, there was a moment when Tyler subtly warned Ashley that she might hear negative things about him from others.
But, Ashley, completely lovestruck, even said she’d tell her own mama to “shut up” if she tried to interfere with her love for Tyler.
Tyler proposed, Ashley accepted, and it seemed like they were proving that love truly is blind…
…..until Tyler waited until the third phase of the experiment, just two weeks before their wedding, to reveal that he was a “sperm donor” who had fathered three children.
Netflix did us dirty by not showing the initial conversation between Tyler and Ashley.
Why Didn’t Tyler Tell Ashley About His Kids?
In an interview with Sharronda Williams of Pay Or Wait, Tyler explained that there wasn’t a right time to disclose the information.
He added that he waited because he wanted to tell Ashley off-camera.
Tyler said it was Ashley who wanted to address the matter on camera, which is what “Love Is Blind” viewers saw in Episode 9.

Tyler Francis has three children: a 7-year-old son and twin daughters who recently started kindergarten.
Tyler Francis’ Engagement To Mikea Turner
Back in August 2016, Tyler proposed to his then-girlfriend, Mikea Turner, after five years of dating.
The proposal went down on the grounds of the Lincoln Memorial and made press because Mikea is a news reporter.
Unfortunately, during her engagement, Mikea had no idea Tyler had fathered a child behind her back.
In fact, Mikea Turner even attended the mommy-to-be’s gender reveal with Tyler completely oblivious to the fact that he was the pappy.
In September 2017, Tyler Francis welcomed his first child, a baby boy.
When Mikea learned the truth, she called off the engagement.
After the engagement ended, Mikea shared on social media on New Year’s Eve (2017) that she was no longer engaged, after a yearlong secret had been revealed by someone she trusted.
Tyler Francis ‘The Sperm Donor’ Daddy
The mother of Tyler’s children is Bri Thomas.
When Tyler’s son was conceived, Bri was married to another woman named Deeshon.
Deeshon claimed that Tyler was not supposed to be involved in the child’s life, and he wasn’t even listed on the birth certificate.
However, Bri secretly allowed Tyler to be involved with his son, behind Deeshon’s back.
When Bri and Deeshon separated, Tyler Francis took a more active role as a parent.
During Bri and Deeshon’s divorce, Tyler got in the mix, and after a long custody battle, Deeshon lost her parental rights.
Tyler was reportedly living with Bri when the twin girls were conceived, although Bri denies having an intimate relationship with him, as she identifies as a lesbian.
Tyler Francis was very hands-on until he was cast on “Love Is Blind.”
Then, he and his mother allegedly scrubbed all traces of the kids from their social media accounts, and Tyler apparently hasn’t looked back since.
Tyler became the “sperm donor” he now claims to be.
Bri Thomas Speaks Out
Bri Thomas has since spoken out on Instagram, addressing Tyler’s characterization of their relationship.
In one post, she confirmed:
“Yes, I am the mother of Tyler’s three children. I’m trying really hard to do this the right way, but I have no understanding why he would characterize his relationship with his children as he has. Especially in consideration of how patient and considerate I’ve been. I guess I have to speak on this, despite trying so hard not to. ‘Sperm babies’ they are not.”
In another post, Bri debunked Tyler’s claim of spending Christmas 2022 “alone”:
“We can start with the smallest lie regarding my ‘uninvolved’ children’s father. ‘I spent Christmas last year alone, cooking greens…’ Tyler did not spend Christmas ‘22 alone. He spent it at his mom’s with family, that included the oldest, Kyreaux.”
A commenter added, “Wowow I was actually in a relationship with Tyler in December of 2022.”
In a third post, Bri wrote:
“Family… Holidays… what does that look like? Here are a few videos three days after Christmas ‘22 (filming occurred October 2023, making this the Christmas before filming). My children love their ‘Dad.’ To think that he has reduced them to ‘sperm babies,’ when I was told he was going on the show to better provide for them, is the most absurd and hurtful thing ever. My kids don’t deserve this.”
Bri has since deleted all of the posts outing Tyler.
In addition to the sperm donor scandal, Tyler Francis is accused of owing over $30K in child support, $10K to an ex-girlfriend, and he’s been accused of stealing one woman’s shades.
