An attorney for Tory Lanez entered a not guilty plea in court on the rapper’s behalf on Wednesday (November 18).
Tory is facing assault and felony gun charges stemming from the July incident with Megan Thee Stallion that has become one of the biggest ongoing sagas in Hip Hop.
Via Billboard:
According to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office, the rapper, born Daystar Peterson, is due back in court on January 20, 2021. Last month, he was charged with one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm – personal use of a firearm – and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He also faces a gun allegation and that he personally inflicted great bodily injury.
Tory Lanez doesn’t appear to be too concerned as he jokingly sang on social media about having court while he is in Mexico chillin!
