Prime Video has just released the official trailer and key art for “The Sticky,” a thrilling dark comedy from Blumhouse Television based on an unbelievable true story.
Inspired by the infamous 2012 heist that saw over $18 million worth of maple syrup stolen from Quebec’s reserves, “The Sticky” promises an edge-of-your-seat ride with a touch of comedy and high-stakes drama.
This six-episode series, dropping December 6 on Prime Video in more than 240 countries, follows Ruth Landry (played by three-time Emmy Award winner Margo Martindale), a tenacious maple syrup farmer whose life turns upside down when bureaucratic threats jeopardize everything she holds dear.
Teaming up with a fiery Boston mobster (Chris Diamantopoulos) and a mild-mannered French-Canadian security guard (Guillaume Cyr), Ruth dives headfirst into a plot to pull off a multi-million-dollar heist on Quebec’s “liquid gold.”
In the newly released trailer, fans get a first taste of the chemistry among this unlikely trio of thieves as they evade the authorities, stir up chaos, and maybe even take a darker turn.
The trailer also teases Jamie Lee Curtis in an unforgettable guest-starring role, bringing another layer of star power to this wild tale.
Watch the trailer below, and get ready to binge “The Sticky” on December 6!
