Tax Day Pushed Back To July 15 Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

Tax Day has been pushed back 90 days amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin announced Americans will not have to file or pay their taxes until July 15 instead of the standard April 15 deadline.

The move is an effort to keep money in many households who have had to buckle down due to shutdowns and lack of income during the COVID-19 crisis.

I welcome this reprieve with open arms as April 15 is always a very sad day for me.

Have you already filed your taxes?
