Snoop Dogg’s family is growing, and it’s all thanks to his baby girl, Cori Broadus! The 25-year-old, who has openly shared her journey with lupus, is pregnant and expecting her first child with her fiancé, Wayne Duece.
While the pregnancy wasn’t planned, Cori says it’s a blessing she and Wayne couldn’t be more grateful for.
“Unplanned, But So Blessed”
Cori discovered the news on October 28 and shared that she’s now four months along and feeling amazing, despite being a high-risk pregnancy due to her lupus diagnosis.
“I’m having a girl,” she revealed, adding, “Doctors were initially concerned, but God has his hands on me. Me and the baby are doing perfectly fine.”
As for how Snoop Dogg and his wife, Shante Broadus, reacted to the news?
Cori shared, “My mom and dad were so excited! Their baby girl is having a baby.”
While Snoop might have been secretly hoping for a grandson, the family is overjoyed to welcome a little princess.
Cori Broadus & Wayne Duece Are Ready For Parenthood
Cori and Wayne are already brimming with love and excitement for their daughter.
“I can’t wait to make her feel like the most beautiful girl in the world,” Cori said, reflecting on her own struggles with confidence growing up.
Wayne added that he’s thrilled to meet his mini version of Cori.
“He knows she’s going to be so beautiful and can’t wait to shower her with love,” Cori shared.
A Rollercoaster Year Of Love & Life
The couple’s pregnancy news follows the recent airing of their three-part E! special, “Snoop Dogg’s Fatherhood: Cori & Wayne’s Story.”
The show documented their journey to the altar, including the decision to postpone their wedding last year.
Wedding planning brought its fair share of challenges for the CHOCC Factory founder.
“It was probably the most miserable time of my life,” Cori admitted, describing the stress and arguments over guest lists, food, and even footwear choices.
However, the delay turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
Earlier this year, Cori faced a severe health scare—a stroke in January—that shifted her perspective on life.
“You have to take care of yourself,” she shared. “Sometimes God sets things up to get you back on track. This experience reminded me how beautiful life is and how strong my village is.”
Congratulations to Choc and Wayne!
