Shakira is kicking off the weekend with a bang, dropping her latest single “Puntería” along with its official music video featuring Cardi B.
“Puntería,” which means the act or skill of aiming, is featured on Shakira’s 12th studio album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, now available worldwide.
In a recent interview, Cardi B teased the collaboration.
I always wanted to do a record with Shakira and it’s like ‘Wow’ it landed in my lap…
So, I got a record coming out with her.
Cardi said before the collaboration she saw Shakira in Paris and told her, “I just love you so much. You’re a part of my life.”
A short while later, the singer’s team reached out to her to be a part of the song.
