Sha’Carri Richardson took to the streets of social media to sound off on the Olympics after Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva, who failed her drug test, was allowed to compete.

You may recall the U.S. track and field star missed the 2020 Tokyo Olympics because she was suspended from the Olympic team after she tested positive for marijuana.

Sha’Carri revealed that she consumed marijuana after learning of her biological mother’s death from a reporter.

She said, “I was trying to hide my pain.”

Kamila Valieva, 15, tested positive for the heart drug trimetazidine two months ago.

But, on Monday, the Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled she is allowed to compete in the 2022 Beijing Games because she is a “protected person” so she has a different set of rules than adult athletes.

Kamila will compete in the women’s individual event and is favored to win gold in the competition after helping Russia win team gold last week.

Sha’Carri took to Twitter writing:

Can we get a solid answer on the difference of her situation and mines? My mother died and I can’t run and was also favored to place top 3. The only difference I see is I’m a black young lady.

It’s all in the skin

Btw THC definitely is not a performance enhance!!!!

Failed in December and the world just now know however my resulted was posted within a week and my name & talent was slaughtered to the people.

Not one BLACK athlete has been about to compete with a case going on, I don’t care what they say!!!
