An apology goes a long way. The scoop on the street is Nick Cannon and ViacomCBS have re-teamed and “Wild ‘N Out” is coming back!
You may recall, Nick was fired by Viacom for what the company called “hateful speech and…anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.”
Nick has since taken responsibilities for his actions, he’s apologized, and he’s connected with Jewish leaders to further educate himself.
He released the following statement on Thursday:
I want to assure my Jewish friends, new and old, that this is only the beginning of my education—I am committed to deeper connections, more profound learning and strengthening the bond between our two cultures today and every day going forward.
According to Deadline, the production on “Wild ‘N Out” will begin soon.
But, it may have to wait as Nick Cannon was recently diagnosed with COVID-19.
He is currently quarantining and resting.
Niecy Nash will fill in for Nick as host of “The Masked Singer” season 5 while he recovers.
I’m sending up an extra prayer for Nick, who already has a pre-existing medical condition (Lupus).
